Levine Named to Lead Allen Superior Court Civil Division
Administrative Judge oversees budgeting, caseload and other key tasks

(March 25, 2015) – Allen Superior Court Judge Stanley A. Levine has been named Administrative Judge of the Court’s Civil Division.

Levine was elected to the position by his fellow Civil Division Judges on March 20, 2015. He succeeds Judge Nancy Boyer, who had served as Administrative Judge since 2000. The Civil Division’s Administrative Judge is responsible for a number of leadership tasks, including approval of the division’s annual budget, caseload assignment and allocation, personnel tasks and conducting meetings of the Civil Division Judges.

“The work we do to resolve disputes is vitally important to the community,” Levine said. “I am pleased and honored that my colleagues chose me to lead the Civil Division.”

Judge Levine was appointed as Judge of the Civil Division of the Allen Superior Court in January 1999. He was re-elected in 2002, 2008 and 2014. He serves as Probate Judge in the Civil Division. Judge Levine is a graduate of South Side High School, Indiana University and the Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana.
