News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:

Meth Raid, 1700 Spring Street

On Friday, March 13th, 2015 shortly before 2 PM, Officers of the Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team and detectives of the Vice and Narcotics Division served a search warrant in the 1700 block of Spring Street. Detectives of the Fort Wayne Meth Suppression Unit and the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit located a meth lab in a residence and neutralized it at the scene. The children that reside at the residence were at school and a dog was removed from the residence by the Fort Wayne Animal Control.

The following subjects were arrested in connection with this case:

Trevor Elijah Pena – adult male/26

  • Manufacturing Methamphetamine Level 5
  • Dumping Controlled Waste Level 6
  • Possession of Meth Precursors Level 6
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6
  • Neglect of a Dependant Level 6

Taren Marie Pena – adult female/23

  • Manufacturing Methamphetamine Level 5
  • Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6
  • Possession of Meth Precursors Level 6
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6
  • Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms Level 6

Jonathan Michael Sheperd – adult male/24

  • Manufacturing Methamphetamine Level 5
  • Possession of Meth Precursors Level 6
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance Level 6

Allen County Board of Health responded and condemned the residence until the chemical hazard has been mitigated. This investigation is ongoing at this time.
