Mad Ants Acquire Matt Bouldin

(March 3, 2015) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, officially announced today that they have acquired returning player Matt Bouldin. Bouldin, pending a physical, is scheduled to join the team for their Tuesday, March 3rd game against the Austin Spurs at the Coliseum scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Bouldin returns to the Mad Ants as one of their key players in their 2014 D-League Championship run last April, where he averaged 13.1 ppg and 3.8 assists per game. During his college career, in his first year at Gonzaga, Bouldin was named to the 2007 West Coast Conference All-Freshman team. He would also help to lead the Bulldogs to three straight WCC titles, picking up First Team All-WCC honors each time, and one 2009 Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. By the end of his senior year, Bouldin was named the WCC Men’s Basketball Player of the Year.
