SCAN partners with Casa Restaurants for the 30th Annual Brown Bag Lunch Fundraiser

(February 23, 2015) – SCAN, Inc. (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) is now taking lunch orders for its 30th Annual Brown Bag Lunch fundraiser featuring delicious pasta with hearty meatballs and signature Casaburo salads provided by Casa Ristoranti Italiano. The event will be held at the Fort Wayne Masonic Temple, 216 E. Washington Blvd. from 11am – 1pm on Wednesday, March 18.
?
To celebrate the 30th anniversary, we have a new Brown Bag Lunch logo, which highlights our continued partnership with Casa! We could not have such a successful Brown Bag Lunch event without the generosity and support of everyone at Casa Restaurants, our event sponsors and in-kind donors, and dedicated helpers. Casa chefs, along with community volunteers, and SCAN employees will prepare, package, and deliver 2,900 lunches in just a few short hours.

Lunches must be pre-ordered, and we hope to sell out for the 3rd year in a row. Over 660 lunches have already sold, so order now to ensure you get a delicious meal, while helping protect children in our community!

For just $9, you can have an individual portion of pasta with meatballs and a side salad, or for $7, you can fill your stomach with a large Casaburo salad. Looking to feed a crowd? We also have family style meals available; each serves 20 people. Family style meals are $180 for pasta with meatballs and side salad or $140 for a family style Casaburo salad. All lunches include bread, butter, sweet treat, and thank you card. Family style orders also include a tasty sheet cake donated by Walnut Hill Catering and Events.

Lunches are available for pick-up at the Fort Wayne Masonic Temple, or for free delivery with five individual or one family style order minimum. Delivery must be within one mile of the Interstate 69 and 469 boundaries or no further north than Huntertown.

Proceeds from the Brown Bag Lunch fundraiser support SCAN’s mission to eliminate they abuse and neglect of children through family services, education, and community partnerships.
