Super Shot Announces New Clinic
The Organization Also Mails 2015 Clinic Calendars Throughout Community(February 15, 2015) – To better serve families, Super Shot is pleased to announce the addition of a new clinic site to its roster of community locations. An additional clinic is accessible at the Fort Wayne Community Schools Anthis Career Center, located at 1200 South Barr Street in downtown Fort Wayne. This clinic is open the third Monday of each month from 4 to 7pm.
Also, last week Super Shot distributed its new 2015 clinic calendars to community partners to help reach families in need of immunizations. The calendars are available in English, Spanish and Burmese and highlight locations and clinic hours. All calendars are also available for download at www.supershot.org or by calling Super Shot.
More than 198,000 children have received more than 521,000 immunizations in Super Shot’s 22-year history. The organization thanks the community for its support of immunization education and coverage.

Super Shot is a unique local program that works every day to ensure that children and their family members have the opportunity to receive lifesaving vaccines. Super Shot is supported by local foundations, companies and individuals In our community Super Shot provides childhood immunizations for uninsured, underinsured and Medicaid enrolled children birth through 18 years old. Super Shot charges $8 per shot, although no one is turned away for inability to pay; Medicaid accepted. We serve children in Allen and surrounding counties with our family-friendly hours and convenient locations. Last year, Super Shot served 7,490 children during 9,430 visits, administering 25,853 immunizations. Super Shot also sent 55,384 Reminder/Recall postcards, placed 44,378 autodialed calls and made 18,403 personal calls to families to help keep their children up to date.
