FWPD: Help needed identifying suspect

 

 

The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a theft suspect.

 

From the Fort Wayne Police Department:

February 9, 2015) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is in need of assistance in identifying the suspect captured in the attached surveillance photograph who has been stealing from Lowes and possibly other retailers in Ft. Wayne. This suspect has been described as a male white, 5’10-6’01 tall, 170-210 lbs.

Anyone with information as to the identity of this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP, (436-7867).

 

FWPD Officer’s Narrative:

SUSPECT: MALE/WHITE/40, driving a SILVER BUICK

DISPATCHED TO THE DESK IN REFERENCE TO A THEFT.

UPON ARRIVAL I SPOKE WITH LOWES LOSS PREVENTION OFFICER. ###### ADVISED ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASION A MALE WHITE HAVE TAKEN ITEMS FROM THE ILLINOIS RD STORE AND THE LIMA RD STORE.

####### ADVISED ON December 13, 2014 THE MALE WHITE WENT INTO THE LOWES ON ILLINOIS RD AND TOOK A DEWALT COMBO KIT VALUED AT $299.00. ####### ADVISED HE WENT TO THE LOWES ON LIMA RD ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE FIRST TIME WAS ON December 17, 2014 AND THE SECOND TIME WAS ON December 22, 2014. ######## ADVISED THE MALE WHITE TOOK ANOTHER DEWALT COMBO KIT (VALUE 299.00) AND A HUSQVARNA CHAINSAW (VALUE $399.00) FROM THE LIMA RD LOCATION.

I ASKED ###### DID THEY CONTACT THE POLICE WHEN THE INCIDENTS HAPPENED AND HE ADVISED NO. ###### EXPLAINED THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THE MALE WHITE SO BECAUSE OF COMPANY PROTOCOL THEY COULD NOT MAKE A REPORT.

I GAVE ###### THE CONTROL AND ADVISED A COPY OF MY REPORT WILL BE SENT TO THE DETECTIVE BUREAU. ####### CLEARED THE SCENE.
