Excursions to ancient hill towns & villages will be taken, as travelers explore foods of the region. A cooking class with an Award Winning Chef is planned; a day beginning at the market with the chef followed by an afternoon cooking class based on seasonal classic dishes such as bringoli, salsiccia alla brace, and panzanella. A visit to wine estates to gain appreciation of the art of wine making from the vineyard to the enoteca is arranged. A meeting with a shepherd and his goats as the travelers discover the secrets of making cheese.
