Update on City of Fort Wayne warming stations
(February 15, 2015) – The City of Fort Wayne has warming stations available for anyone in need of a warm place to stay as a result of the winter weather conditions.
The Omni Room on the garden level of Citizens Square, 200 E. Berry St., will be open from 6 p.m. this evening until 6 a.m. Monday. Visitors are asked to enter the doors on the northwest corner of the building.
The McMillen Park Community Center, 3901 Abbott St., is open until 8 p.m. this evening.
The Community Center, 233 W. Main St., will be open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. beginning Monday.
The City’s Police, Fire, Public Works, and City Utilities departments are all prepared with full personnel in position to respond accordingly to any potential weather situations.
