USF Pins Graduating Nursing Classes in Fort Wayne

(January 27, 2015) — The University of Saint Francis held a pinning ceremony for its graduating nurses on December 11, 2014, at the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center.

24 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates, 13 RN to Bachelor of Science graduates, and 20 Associate of Science in Nursing graduates received their pins before a crowd of 500 family members and friends. Mr. Timm Reed, Assistant Professor of Nursing, addressed the graduates and Sister Gayle Rusbasan OSF, Campus Minister, conducted the Blessing of the Hands. Also attending were Dr. Loraine Frank-Lightfoot, Chief Nursing Officer of Parkview Regional Medical Center and Ms. Jan Biddle, Nursing Administrative Coordinator of Lutheran Health Network, who presented selected students with Parkview Health Awards and Lutheran Hospital Nursing Excellence Awards.
