Opening Day, Individual Tickets Go On Sale February 18
Free Breakfast for Fans Who Buy Tickets at Parkview Field on the 18th(February 9, 2015) — Don’t let the snow on the ground deceive you. Spring is drawing near, and Opening Day is almost here. Need proof? Single game tickets for the 2015 TinCaps season go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 18.
The first opportunity for fans to purchase tickets to any of the TinCaps’ 70 home games begins at 8:00 a.m. on the 18th. Tickets will be available to purchase online at TinCaps.com, by phone at 260-482-6400, or in person at Parkview Field.
In fact, fans who come Downtown to buy tickets between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. will be treated to a free breakfast in Parkview Field’s Suite Level Lounge.
Last year Parkview Field was named the No. 1 ballpark experience in Minor League Baseball by Stadium Journey, while the TinCaps as an organization were named Team of the Year by Ballpark Digest.
Fans should be sure to act quickly before tickets for the game of their choice are gone, especially the 2015 season’s highly anticipated Opening Day.
“We can’t wait for Sunday, April 12 to get here,” TinCaps President Mike Nutter said. “Actually, first, we can’t wait for Wednesday, February 18 to get here. The support of the Fort Wayne community over our first six years at Parkview Field has been nothing short of sensational and we think year seven will be our most BIG FUN yet.”
Opening Day 2015 at Parkview Field is set for Sunday, April 12 at 4:05 p.m. when the TinCaps (San Diego Padres) host the Lansing Lugnuts (Toronto Blue Jays). Individual tickets start at just $5.00.
The TinCaps are also offering fans a special Opening Day Plus ticket promotion. With the purchase of a ticket to Opening Day plus a ticket to another game from April 13-May 14, fans will receive a free regular-sized soft drink and a free hot dog for the second game they attend. Mention this promotion when purchasing tickets via phone or in person.
After 10:00 a.m. on the 18th, fans looking to purchase TinCaps tickets in person at Parkview Field can visit The Orchard Team Store between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
