Atlanta Hawks assign Mike Muscala to Fort Wayne Mad Ants

Atlanta, GA (February 7, 2015) – The Atlanta Hawks have assigned forward/center Mike Muscala to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.

Muscala has appeared in 17 games (one start) with the Hawks this season, averaging 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds in 8.2 minutes (.549 FG%, .909 FT%).

He has been assigned to Fort Wayne on three previous occasions this year (Dec. 6-8 , Dec. 19-20, and Dec. 28-29), averaging 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in 28.7 minutes (.512 FG%, .857 FT%) in four games. In his most recent action with the Mad Ants, a 106-93 loss to Austin on Dec. 28, he finished with 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes, hitting 7-12 FGs.
