The news release from Republican Jason Arp who announced his campaign for the Fort Wayne City Council’s 4th District seat on December 20, 2014.

(December 20, 2014) – Jason Arp will announce at noon today at Allen County GOP Headquarters that he will be seeking a seat on the Fort Wayne City Council. Arp desires to represent the fourth district, the southwest side of town, a position currently held by Mitch Harper who reported recently that he will run for mayor in the next election.

Jason Arp is running on a platform that mirrors the bylaws of the Allen County Republican Party including strict adherence to the United States Constitution, small limited government, and respect for the sanctity of life.

Jason Arp is Executive Director of the Indiana Conservatives Election PAC, a political action committee dedicated to electing conservatives to public office in Indiana. Jason is a Republican precinct committeeman in the Aboite area, has served as a delegate to the Indiana Republican state convention, and was campaign manager for the successful Christopher Judy for State Representative campaign in House District 83.

Arp was formerly employed by Bank of America from 1997 to 2006 in the area of securities management and investment. He currently is a private investor in Fort Wayne where he resides with his wife and daughters.
