News release from CANI:
CANI to host free small business class
(February 3, 2015) – CANI’s Center for Community and Economic Development is excited to continue offering free business classes. Our next class, Basic Business Finances 2, is aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs and current small business owners. It is preferred, but not required, that attendees have completed Basic Business Finances 1 prior to taking this class.
Basic Business Finances 2 will include a brief overview and build upon the concepts of budgeting, cash flow statements, and balance sheets from Basic Business Finances 1. Attendees can expect to learn ways to use information and data from their businesses to guide future decision making regarding operations, marketing and finances.
This class is being taught by Jorge Zazueta who has an MBA from Indiana University and over 15 years of experience working with businesses. For the past eight years Mr. Zazueta has worked for IBM, CSC Consulting, and recently he started his own business, Zazueta & Co., consulting on financial management and business efficiency for companies across the country.
The class will be held on Saturday, February 7th from 10am-Noon at the Allen County Public Library, main branch, in the Business, Science and Technology Meeting Room. Space is limited so you must reserve your spot. For more information or to register, contact: Evan Neubacher at CANI, (260) 423-3546 ext. 250 or EvanNeubacher@canihelp.org.
