NWS: Updated snowfall accumulations and NWS video briefing




Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Updated storm total snowfall accumulations

(February 1, 2015) – A winter storm system will continue to strengthen today and bring periods of moderate to heavy snow across the region. The heaviest snow is expected from late morning through early this evening. Storm total snow accumulations are expected to range from 7 to 15 inches with the highest totals expected across far northern Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southern lower Michigan. In addition to the heavy snow, northeast winds will strengthen later this afternoon into this evening leading to significant blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibilities.
