The Winter Storm Watch has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning by the National Weather Service. They are saying there is a 90% probability we will receive 8 plus inches of snow from this storm.
Winter Storm Warning
From 7 pm Saturday through 4 am Monday for all of our Indiana and Ohio counties
(January 31, 2015) – The entire forecast area has been upgraded to a winter storm warning from 7pm Saturday Night through 4am Monday. Between 7 and 11 inches of snow is expected for most of the area with locally higher amounts over a foot possible. The map on the right demonstrates the uncertainty that still exists, although our confidence is increasing that everyone will see 8 or more inches of snow. There is a slight chance for snow to change to rain for a brief period time in the far southern portion of our forecast area which accounts for the lower percentages there.
