Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Named No. 15 in the World on Venues Today “Top Stop” List for November-December 2014

(January 27, 2015) – The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is No. 15 in the world for concert ticket sales, among similar-sized venues, on the Venues Today “Top Stop” rankings for the November-December 2014 reporting period.

The ranking, released in the January 2015 issue of Venues Today, was based on concert and event grosses from November 16 through December 15, 2014, as reported to the industry leading publication.

The top five venues on the list were the Brisbane (Australia) Entertainment Centre at No. 1; the O2 World Hamburg Arena in Germany at No. 2; the Mediolamum Forum in Milan, Italy at No. 3; the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. at No. 4; and the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia at No. 5.

This most recent ranking includes the Slipknot & Korn concert on November 23 and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert on December 5, among other events. The rankings are among similar sized venues, seating between 10,001 and 15,000 people.
