Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Snow expected to begin later tonight
(January 24, 2015) – Clouds will increase ahead of a clipper system that is expected to approach the area late tonight. This system will bring with it a chance of snow with the heaviest amounts of 3 to 5 inches possible primarily along and south of U.S. Route 30. Lighter amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in areas north of U.S. 30. Snow will begin to spread into the area late tonight and should continue through most of the day on Sunday. Afternoon high temperatures today, with increasing clouds, are expected to be in the mid 30s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s to around 30.
