CANI to host free small business class

(January 21, 2015) – CANI’s Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED) will be hosting a free class called Basic Business Finances on Wednesday, January 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The class will be held at the Allen County Public Library – Main Branch located at 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne, in the Business, Science and Technology Meeting Room.

Basic Business Finances is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and current small business owners. Topics to be covered are record keeping, budgeting, cash flow statements, break-even analysis, and how this information affects your business. In addition to running his own business, Mr. Hernandez has worked on boards for many local organizations and served as an Allen County Councilman from 2001 to 2005.

This class will have a follow-up class, Basic Business Finances 2 to be held in February. Both classes are part of a series being offered by CANI. More information is available on the events page of CANI’s web site: mybrightpoint.org.
