(January 8, 2015) – The winter weather advisory has been expanded to all areas north of US 30. Snowfall amounts remain the same, but the concern is growing for significant blowing and drifting snow causing near whiteout conditions.

A winter storm warning is in effect for Berrien and Cass counties in Michigan for 5-7 inches of snow across the northern portions of the counties.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for areas along and north of US 6 for generally 2 to 4 inches of snow.

High temperatures today will be near 10 degrees with high temperatures in the single digits on Friday. Winds will increase overnight with significant blowing and drifting expected. The Friday morning commute will be treacherous along interstate 94 and the Indiana Toll Road.
