Candidate to launch Campaign for Fort Wayne City Clerk
Announcement and News Conference Set for GOP Headquarters on January 7, 2015.

(January 5, 2015) – Fort Wayne resident Lana R. Keesling will host a news conference to announce her candidacy for City Clerk on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015.

The news conference will begin at 3:30 pm at Allen County Republican Party Headquarters, 135 W. Main Street. Keesling will speak before answering questions on her plan to seek the Fort Wayne City Clerk Office in the 2015 Primary and November, 2015 election. After answering questions, she will walk to the Election Board and file paperwork for the Candidacy.

An Indianapolis Native, Keesling, has lived in the Fort Wayne area for 23 years. Keesling has worked at Commercial Warehouse & Cartage, Inc. in a management roll for the last 17 years. Prior to that, she owned an art gallery and frame shop in Fort Wayne. She attended IUPUI in Indianapolis and University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a MBA. She is a 2013-2014 graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series whose mission is to increase the number of and influence of Republican woman in elected and appointed governmental and political positions at the local, state, and federal levels. In 2014 she was appointed to the Metro Human Relations Commission. She also serves on the Allen County Purdue Extension Advisory Board. She is a Mother of 2 daughters and also has hosted an International Student from China for the last 3 years. She is active at Canterbury High School where the girls attend high school.
