…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST TUESDAY…

HAZARDOUS WEATHER…

* TIMING…SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD THE AREA LATER THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE UNTIL TUESDAY MORNING.

* ACCUMULATIONS…SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE GENERALLY 3 TO 5 INCHES. 4 TO 6 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM MARION TO PORTLAND.

IMPACTS…

* SNOWFALL RATES UP TO ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR MAY OCCUR OVERNIGHT. VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED…SLICK..AND HAZARDOUS. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
