Strong Offensive Game Fuels Mad Ants

(January 3, 2015) – The Mad Ants, sponsored by Lutheran Health Network, took off early and never looked back as their offensive game surged over the Erie BayHawks 111-91 Saturday night at Allen Co. War Memorial Coliseum.

The Mad Ants jumped out early and found themselves leading by margins of up to 23, including a 65-49 lead at the half. Andre Emmett led the Mad Ants at the half with 18 points and 5 rebounds, while CJ Fair recorded 16 points of his own. Daniel Coursey lead the BayHawks with 12 points at the half.

Fort Wayne continued their dominance well into the second half as their offense continued to top the BayHawks. Emmett would go on to lead the team with 26 points and 8 rebounds on the night, his second highest points performance on the season since posting 28 in his November 22nd performance against the BayHawks. Fair followed behind with 21 points and Will Frisby would grab 11 rebounds to add to his 13 point performance.

For the BayHawks, Coursey would lead with 24 points and grab down 10 rebounds to lead in each category.
