Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Cold with lake effect snow tonight

(December 30, 2014) – Lake effect snow showers that moved inland this afternoon will diminish gradually this evening. Otherwise, expect snow showers to continue across mainly southwestern Lower Michigan, especially near the Lake. A cold night is in store for the area, with low temperatures ranging from 6 to 15 degrees. The coldest temperatures will be in the southwest where skies clear out overnight.
