Thefts From Mailboxes
Date/Time of Incident: 12-20-2014
The Fort Wayne Police Department has recently responded to several areas of the city where mail was scattered throughout the city. Police advise that individuals have taken mail out of mailboxes in several neighborhoods with the most recent incidents occurring in the Northeast portion of the city. Police believe that the individuals are taking mail out of the mailboxes in hopes of stealing money or gift cards during this holiday season. Police are asking for residents to be observant and report any suspicious activity to local authorities.
