Festival of Gingerbread another success
(December 18, 2014) – The History Center’s 29th Annual Festival of Gingerbread ended on a high note this year with a number of records set for the annual holiday fund raiser of the museum.
According to Todd Maxwell Pelfrey, executive director, admissions revenue, number of corporate sponsors, corporate sponsorship dollars and total revenue were the highest in the Festival’s history. A total of 11,511 guests toured the Festival and museum in late November and early December. In total, over $95,000 was raised through the 2014 Festival to support the mission of the History Center, according to Pelfrey.
Thanks to the overwhelming public support of this annual holiday event, the History Center looks forward to an even bigger and better 30th anniversary event in 2015.
