Rain, ending with light snowfall, strong winds on Monday
(November 23, 2014) – A strong storm system will cause rapidly changing weather over the next 24 hours. Light winds and moderate rainfall tonight will turn into strong winds and snow by this time Monday.
A wind advisory is in effect from 9AM Monday to 7PM Monday. Moderate rainfall this evening will continue into the early morning hours tonight with total rainfall accumulation between three-quarters of an inch and one inch by tomorrow morning. Light rain will continue through the morning hours Monday before changing to snow during the afternoon. Little to no accumulation is expected, but southwesterly winds will increase through the day and peak during the afternoon hours with winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts as high as 45 mph.
