Grand Wayne Convention Center to Host First-Ever Indiana Artisan Holiday Marketplace

(November 19, 2014) – Downtown Fort Wayne will feature an extra holiday shopping option from November 29-30 when the Grand Wayne Convention Center hosts the first-ever Indiana Artisan Holiday Marketplace.

The two-day event will allow shoppers to purchase one-of-a-kind artwork from nearly 75 Indiana artisans, including handcrafted paintings, leather jewelry, organic jams, wines and much more. Guests can sample candies, chocolates, wines, caramels, granolas and sauces, while meeting many of the state’s best artisans.

Admission is $7 and $5 for attendees who show their ticket stub from the Embassy Theatre’s Festival of Trees.

On November 29, the marketplace joins Holly Trolley Shopping activities that include nearly 50 shopping options in downtown Fort Wayne. Two trolleys will transport riders to shopping locations free of charge from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
