News release from the Embassy Theatre:
Sip, Savor and Select at Vintage
(October 21, 2014) – The Embassy Theatre will host it’s second annual Vintage Wine Tasting, Sip, Savor and Selec, on Nov. 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 and proceeds will benefit the Embassy Theatre.
There will be a variety of wines to taste including Frances Ford Coppola, Banfi Vintners, Serhesio Family and more. Wines will be available for purchase to take home that evening. “This event is right before the holidays so we are combining wine sipping with some wine shopping, ” said Kelly Updike, executive director of the Embassy Theatre. “We are excited to showcase some new wines exclusive to our event that will be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner and entertaining.”
Club Soda, Catablu and DeBrand Fine Chocolates will be bringing their “best of the best” in holiday hors d’oeuvres and desserts to savor. The theater will be open for tours from the balcony to backstage to the dressing rooms, allowing guests to trace the steps of the many stars who have performed on the Embassy stage.
Pictures can be taken on stage and to make sure everyone looks their best, Chanel Beauty advisers from Von Maur will be on hand for a last- minute touch-up before snapping.
Vintage is co-sponsored by, Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) and is the organization’s annual membership drive for 2015. “We get to invite new members into our organization and give them a wonderful experience at the Embassy Theatre. What a win for everyone,” said Jared Baker, YLNI special events coordinator.
Tickets are limited and may be purchased through ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone, 800.745.3000 or directly through the Embassy box office, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
