CANI welcomes new Americorps members

(October 15, 2014) – CANI (Community Action of Northeast Indiana) is proud to announce the start of our CANI AmeriCorps Program 2014-2015 term of service. Our incoming CANI AmeriCorps Program Members include, Grace Cassel, Angellicca Colley, Andrew Fluegel, Erin Fulkerson, Janisha Green, Maria Marquez, DanNae Lewis, Darnesha Neal, Kristin Potts, and Lisa Wilson.

CANI partners with other local agencies, such as Lutheran Social Services of Indiana (LSSI) and Fort Wayne Housing Authority (FWHA), positioning CANI AmeriCorps Members within direct-service and capacity-building opportunities. Throughout the 2014-2015 term of service, our CANI AmeriCorps Members will serve in the following focus areas: Economic Opportunities, Healthy Futures, and Education. Each CANI AmeriCorps Member will complete 1,700 hours of service while gaining professional experience and satisfying identified needs within our community.
