Cutting for a Cause for Youth With a Mission
(October 7, 2014) – To assist a co-worker who spends much of the year serving the poor in Mazatlan, Mexico, Elevation 138 SalonSpa will host a Cut-A-Thon on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 1-6 p.m. at its store located in Mutton Power Center, 7724 Lima Road. Donations from the Cut-A-Thon will benefit Billy Zemaitis. After graduating from Carroll High School in 2012, Billy joined the Christian non-profit Youth With a Mission in Mexico. All proceeds from the event will be used to help Billy continue his work with YWAM.
“The experience feels as though God has taken my spirit and soul, broken it into many pieces and then put back together in his way as if to remind me once again of who is in control,” Billy wrote in a letter to his local church. “It is wonderful to be able to devote so much time to outreach and evangelization.”
Non-chemical services, which include children and adult haircuts, spray tans, manicures, pedicures, massages and facials, will be offered at the Cut-A-Thon. Patrons are invited to donate anything they can to help Billy sit at the feet of Jesus, adore him and find a breakthrough in lives, cultures and nations.

A group of 13 are volunteering time on their day off to help raise money for Billy’s mission, vision and goal.
