B.B. King/Robert Cray concert CANCELED

(October 4, 2014) – The Embassy Theatre announces that the B.B. King/Robert Cray concert scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to illness. “The promoter relayed the information to us earlier today that the concert was postponed,” said Kelly Updike, Embassy Theatre executive director, “and soon after he confirmed the concert is canceled and tickets will be refunded.”

Ticket holders who bought at box office, cash or credit card, must bring tickets with them when they come for the refund. The Embassy box office will be open this evening from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to handle refunds and then once again on Monday when the box office opens at 10 a.m. The Embassy box office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Ticket holders who purchased through Ticketmaster will receive instructions directly from Ticketmaster on how to receive a refund.

“B.B. has a great fan base here in Fort Wayne, and we were looking forward to the King of the Blues playing our house tonight,” commented Updike. “People were very excited about the show and tickets had sold well. We will miss hosting B.B. King and Robert Cray on our stage. We wish all parties involved a speedy recovery.”
