Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Monday

(September 29, 2014) – One more beautiful fall day is expected on Monday, before rain chances return Monday night into Tuesday, along with cooler temperatures. Highs on Monday will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s under mostly sunny skies across most locations, with highs in the low to mid 70s near Lake Michigan. Rain chances will return to the area overnight, with the best chances for rain showers along and north/east of U.S. 33 during the 2 AM to 8 AM EDT timeframe. Lows will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Rain chances will end through the morning hours on Tuesday, with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. Highs will be much cooler than the past week, with upper 50s across southwest lower Michigan to near 70 degrees across southern portions of the area.
