Brown’s Commitment to Public Safety Key Factor

(September 22, 2014) – The Professional Fire Fighters Union of Indiana (PFFUI) has endorsed Liz Brown for Indiana Senate District 15. In a letter announcing the endorsement, PFFUI’s President, Thomas Hanify, and Vice-President, Michael Whited, wrote:

“The PFFUI would like to thank you for your efforts and support for issues that affect firefighters. Your commitment to Public Safety during your time on the Fort Wayne City Council showed that you will be a Senator who works to improve training standards, safety standards, and protect public pensions. Firefighters and their families are proud to call you a friend.”

“I’m thrilled to have the support of the Professional Fire Fighters Union of Indiana,” stated Brown. “Government has a responsibility to uphold the public safety of its citizens. Our local firefighters work tirelessly to protect our homes and livelihoods, and I would be proud to represent them in Indianapolis.”

“PFFUI’s endorsement of Liz shows she is the best candidate to represent Indiana Senate District 15,” shared Veronica Wilson, Liz Brown for Senate campaign manager. “Liz has the respect and support of a broad coalition of Hoosiers.”
