USF: Visiting author reading – Christine Sneed

Visiting author reading

(September 11, 2014) – The University of Saint Francis, Department of English and Foreign Languages, 2701 Spring St., Fort Wayne, will host a reading by Christine Sneed on October 16 at 7:00 pm in the Student Center. Christine Sneed is a graduate of the MFA creative writing program at Indiana University. She has received an Illinois Arts Council Fellowship in poetry, is the recipient of the 2013 21st Century Award from the Chicago Public Library Foundation, and has received special mentions in the Pushcart Prize anthology for the stories “Quality of Life” and “Beach Vacation.”

She teaches creative writing for Northwestern University’s graduate writing program and for Pacific University’s low-residency MFA program.

The event is free and open to the public. The USF Student Center is behind Trinity Hall on the northwest side of campus. Parking is available in the Trinity Hall parking lot off Spring Street.
