USF hosting politics scholar for Constitution Day
(September 15, 2014) — The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Saint Francis will host Even Oxman of Lake Forest College to discuss “Why Citizens Need to Know Constitutional History” as part of the university’s Constitution Day celebration Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Ballroom of Brookside (former Bass home). The event is free and open to the public at 2701 Spring St. in Fort Wayne.
Oxman is Uihlein Assistant Professor of American Politics at Lake Forest College in Illinois. Oxman earned master and doctoral degrees in politics at Princeton University in Princeton, N.J. and a bachelor degree in political science from Duke University in Durham, N.C. His areas of scholarship include political theory, U.S. politics and public law.
