Critical Injury Accident
Date/Time of Incident: 09-08-2014, 5:31 PM
Location of Incident: Broadway and Bluffton
Victims: Female Adult (Good Condition) and Male Adult (Critical Condition)
On Monday September 8,2014 at approximately 5:31 PM the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a personal injury accident near the intersection of Broadway and Bluffton. As officers and paramedics arrived on the scene, they located an adult male victim inside one of the vehicles involved and an adult female victim inside the other vehicle involved. Paramedics provided medical attention to both victims before transporting them both to a local hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital, the male victim was listed in critical condition and the female victim was listed in good condition.
Investigators on the scene advised that the vehicle that the male was driving was traveling northbound on Broadway as it crossed the center median and collided with the vehicle the female was driving while traveling southbound on Broadway. Investigators are not sure at this time if the male victim may have suffered from a medical condition prior to the collision.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department F.A.C.T. Team.
