Concert on the Farm
Sunday, September 14, 4 – 7 pm, Salomon Farm Park, 817 W. Dupont Rd.

(September 2, 2014) — Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy an evening of live country music in a beautiful farm setting. Hubie Ashcraft & the Drive and Adam Strack will perform on Sunday, September 14, 4 – 7 pm at Salomon Farm Park in a Concert on the Farm. Admission is $10 per car.

Hubie Ashcraft of Fort Wayne is a Singer/Songwriter/Performer who can often be seen sharing the stage with his band The Drive. Together they exude a powerful, high-energy show that will entertain you until the very last note. Hubie is widely known for playing his white Fender Stratocaster and 1952 Telecaster. His music is infused with pop hooks, poetic lyrics and soul that are both traditional and contemporary. In addition to playing electric guitar, he also plays acoustic guitar and has two years of classical guitar training.

Adam Strack started playing music around the age of 14 and was in a family band with his mother, father, sister, uncles and even his grandmother. For ten years, they entertained at events like wedding receptions and gatherings at American legions. After that, Strack began playing acoustic guitar in duos and has been part of several Fort Wayne bands. Currently he can be seen playing in the Adam Strack band, playing solo or duo acoustic shows, or deejaying weddings & events.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase from Mad Anthony Brewing Company and Shigs in Pit. A limited amount of seating will be available inside the barn on a first come, first served basis.
