FWPD Looking to Identify Theft Suspect
(September 3, 2014) – Fort Wayne police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male theft suspect captured in the attached photo.
This is surveillance from the Lima Road Meijer’s on 06/17/2014. The stolen credit card used to make the purchase was taken from a car that was parked at Cork N Clever.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP (436-7867)

MS ####### STATED SHE WAS NOTIFIED HER WINDOW HAD BEEN BROKEN AROUND 1730. MS ####### DISCOVERED THE ONLY ITEMS THAT WERE MISSING WERE HER CORPORATE CREDIT CARD, MASTERCARD, A VISA CARD, AND A DEBIT CARD. MS ####### STATED THE CORPORATE CARD WAS USED AT WALMART TO OBTAIN $200. MS ###### STATED THE MASTERCARD WAS USED AT MEIJER ON LIMA ROAD TO OBTAIN $300. MS ######
STATED HER VISA CARD WAS USED AT WALMART TO OBTAIN $300. MS ###### STATED THE DEBIT CARD HAD NOT BEEN USED. MS ###### STATED SHE CONTACTED WALMART AND WAS ADVISED THAT IN ORDER TO GET THE AMOUNT OF CASH THAT WAS TAKEN THE SUSPECT WOULD HAVE TO GO TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE EMPLOYEE ADVISED THE TRANSACTION WOULD BE ON VIDEO. MS ####### STATED SHE CANCELLED THE CARDS TO PREVENT FURTHER USAGE.
