BFGoodrich Seeking 60 Production Workers

(August 28, 2014) – B.F. Goodrich and WorkOne Northeast will conduct a hiring event Sept. 6 to fill up to 60 production positions at the tire manufacturer’s Woodburn plant.

The hiring event will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the WorkOne career center in Fort Wayne, 201 E. Rudisill Blvd., Suite 102.

Candidates for the positions must be at least 18 and be willing to work full-time on a 12-hour rotating schedule, able to operate semi-skilled machinery, and able to perform frequent lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.

The positions pay $14.57 an hour, with a benefits package after 30 days and an opportunity for shift premiums and incentive pay for certain jobs.
