Fort Wayne International Airport traffic up in July

(August 18, 2014) – The Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority reports that total July passenger traffic at Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) was up 5.7% over July 2013, with 59,224 passengers arriving and departing through FWA during the month. Passenger boardings alone were up 5.6% compared to last year.

Year-to-date, passenger traffic at FWA is up 8.5% compared to 2013, with more than 368,000 passengers arriving and departing through FWA.

The number of peak-day scheduled aircraft departures in July was 21. Service was offered to 10 nonstop markets: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Minneapolis, Orlando/Sanford, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, Phoenix/Mesa, and Myrtle Beach.
