ZZ Top performing at Foellinger Theatre
Wednesday, October 8, 7:30 pm

(July 18, 2014) – ZZ TOP, the “little ol’ band from Texas,” returns to Fort Wayne for the first time in 7 years on October 8th. Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 4 at 8 am.

 

 

Formed in Houston, Texas, Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard (the only one without a beard!) have toured and recorded together since 1969, a record setting 45 years for a major band to retain their original lineup.

Known for blues rock songs including “La Grange,” “Tush,” “Legs” and “Sharp Dressed Man,” ZZ Top was inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones.

Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.foellingertheatre.org, by calling 260-427-6000, visiting the Parks & Recreation Department office at 705 E. State Blvd., Mon – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, or visiting any of the three Wooden Nickel Records stores in Fort Wayne. Ticket prices are $49 – $99.
