June 19th: TinCaps game notes and roster moves
(June 19, 2014) – The TinCaps begin the second half of the season tonight with a 7:00 game against the West Michigan Whitecaps at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, Michigan. The scheduled starters are Erik Cabrera for Fort Wayne and Chad Green for the Whitecaps.
Tonight’s game broadcast can be heard on ESPN Radio 1380 and TheFanIndiana.com.
In conjunction with the Padres, the TinCaps also announced the following roster moves today:
OF Mallex Smith, RHP Tyron Guerrero, and RHP Coby Cowgill transferred to Advanced-A Lake Elsinore.
RHP Josh Richardson transferred from Advanced-A Lake Elsinore to Fort Wayne. RHP Jeffrey Enloe and RHP Jorge Guzman transferred from Short-Season Eugene to Fort Wayne.
The TinCaps roster currently stands at 24 active players, one below the Midwest League limit.
