Thunderstorm chances continue into tonight
(June 18, 2014) – Showers and thunderstorms are possible across the area this evening into the overnight hours. Thunderstorms have developed across northern Illinois, southwest lower Michigan and extreme northern Indiana this evening. This thunderstorm activity could impact the area heading into the overnight hours. An isolated strong to severe storm cannot be ruled out, but the main threat would be heavy rainfall and localized flooding. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 60s overnight.
