Sponsor and train your ducks today!(June 17, 2014) – More than 6,000 plastic duckies are still looking for a sponsor to give them the chance to ride the tide to the finish line on June 21st in the 26th Annual Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect).
Have your sponsored your ducks for yet? Hurry, before it’s too late! Cost to sponsor a duck is $5. You can sponsor multiple ducks at a discounted price with a “Duck Deal,” 5 for $20; 13 for $50; 25 for $90; and 40 for $140.
For those of you who have already sponsored ducks in this year’s race, we have some pointers on how to prepare your feathery friends for victory…
- Positivity is contagious – have an encouraging attitude and share inspiring thoughts with your duck, and while you’re at it, your kids too. Everyone benefits from happiness and reassurance.
- Quack it up – practice duck races at home with your family or come up with a special quack language that only your ducks will understand to cheer your floating friends on!
- Power in numbers – did you sponsor one duck? That’s quacktastic! Want to win the new $1 million dollar chance cash prize, payable as a 40-year annuity? Sponsor more ducks for a better chance! The ducks will be so happy to have a flock of friends to train with!
