…HEAVY RAINFALL TO IMPACT PORTIONS OF NORTHERN INDIANA AND NORTHWESTERN OHIO INTO THURSDAY MORNING…

LOW PRESSURE…LOCATED IN SOUTHERN INDIANA THIS EVENING…WILL TRACK INTO NORTHERN OHIO LATER TONIGHT. A LARGE AREA OF RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THE RAIN WILL BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES ACROSS THE WATCH AREA WITH MANY LOCATIONS SEEING 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN BY THURSDAY MORNING. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS COULD OCCUR WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS. THIS RAIN WILL FALL ONTO AREAS THAT HAVE SEEN ANYWHERE FROM 2 TO LOCALLY OVER 4 INCHES OF RAIN IN THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS…INCREASING CONCERNS FOR FLOODING OF RIVERS…CREEKS AND LOW AREAS.

* PORTIONS OF NORTHERN INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO…INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS…IN NORTHERN INDIANA…ADAMS…ALLEN IN…BLACKFORD…GRANT…HUNTINGTON…JAY…KOSCIUSKO…MIAMI…WABASH…WELLS AND WHITLEY. IN NORTHWEST OHIO…ALLEN OH…DEFIANCE…FULTON OH…HENRY…PAULDING…PUTNAM AND VAN WERT.

* THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING

* ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED BY NOON THURSDAY OVER MUCH OF NORTHERN INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO WHICH MAY LEAD TO FLOODING. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH ANY EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS..MAINLY ALONG AND EAST OF INTERSTATE 69.

* AREAL FLOODING ALONG WITH SIGNIFICANT RISES ON RIVERS MAY IMPACT NUMEROUS ROADS…AGRICULTURAL LANDS AND POSSIBLY
RESIDENTIAL AREAS.
