Scout Nights at Parkview Field
TinCaps Welcome Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts to Camp Out(May 8, 2014) — Ever wonder what it would be like to have a sleepover at a ballpark? Local Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts have the opportunity to find out this spring at Parkview Field. The TinCaps are welcoming local troops, packs, and families to enjoy a TinCaps game, and then spend the night in the outfield.
As part of the Family Campouts, scouts will have their first chance to go on the field prior to the TinCaps’ game that evening for the color guard presentation. After the game, scouts can go back on the field to run the bases and then set up their tents. Other entertainment includes fireworks and a movie on Parkview Field’s video board. Kids will also receive a newly designed scout patch to remember their experience and meet TinCaps players during an autograph session. Breakfast will be served the following morning.

o Ticket Orders Due: Friday, May 16The TinCaps strongly recommend you return your ticket orders as soon as possible to reserve seats and ensure overnight reservations on your desired night. It’s also strongly recommended that troops return ticket orders as a group. This helps ensure your group will be seated together during the game.
Game tickets, re-entry passes for the campout, and a checklist of things to bring for the event will be mailed at a later date. Please note: Scouts are not required to stay for the campout.
