Mayor Henry recognizes championship season for University of Saint Francis Women’s Basketball
Mayor visits USF campus to present proclamation(March 24, 2014) – Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry proclaimed today “University of Saint Francis Women’s Basketball Day” in the City of Fort Wayne.
Mayor Henry visited the Hutzell Athletic Center to meet with the team and congratulate them on winning the NAIA Division II National Championship.
“Winning a national championship is a tremendous accomplishment that we wanted to recognize with a proclamation,” said Mayor Henry. “We’re proud of the team’s efforts. It’s great to see student athletes making a positive difference in our community.”
