…HEAVY SNOW EXPECTED LATE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY…

MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA TUESDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY AS A STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS EAST THROUGH SOUTHERN INDIANA AND OHIO. PRECIPITATION WILL LIKELY BEGIN AS A PERIOD OF RAIN ALONG AND SOUTH OF A WINAMAC INDIANA TO WARSAW INDIANA TO BRYAN OHIO LINE BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO ALL SNOW FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE FORECAST TO GENERALLY RANGE BETWEEN 4 AND 8 INCHES. SUSTAINED
WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH WILL CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL TO THE REGION ON WEDNESDAY.

* IMPACTS…HEAVY SNOW WITH ACCUMULATIONS IN EXCESS OF A INCH PER HOUR…AND GUSTY WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH…WILL LIKELY MAKE FOR DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS ON WEDNESDAY.
