Jerry Noble to retire as court executive of the Allen Superior Court

(February 10, 2014) – Jerry W. Noble has announced his retirement as Court Executive of the Allen Superior Court effective at close of business on Friday, August 22, 2014.

Noble has served as Court Executive since 1986. Prior to that, he served the Court in other positions in the Family Relations Division beginning in 1971, including twelve years as the Assistant Superintendent of the juvenile detention facility then known as the Wood Youth Center. The Court Executive is the chief administrative officer of the court, responsible for the budget, finance, grants, human resources, caseload allocation and other administrative duties.

Noble said, “Working for the Court these many years has been a tremendous honor. I have had the great privilege of working for and with a wonderful group of Judges, Magistrates and court staff for the improvement of the judicial system here in Allen County. I am profoundly thankful to each one and to God for this opportunity. ”

Chief Judge Wendy W. Davis, on behalf of the nine Judges of the Allen Superior Court, will organize the search for Noble’s replacement in the coming months.
