News release from Savor Fort Wayne:

Savor Fort Wayne allows diners to take advantage of three-course, value-priced menus in the City of Restaurants
Inaugural twelve-day restaurant event announces dates

(December 5, 2013) – Guests will soon be able to open wide and enjoy three-course, value-priced menus during Savor Fort Wayne from January 15 – 26. For 12 days diners will be able to take advantage of these specially designed menus at restaurants in the Fort Wayne area.

“Savor Fort Wayne celebrates the City of Restaurants by highlighting dining across the region,” said Melissa Glaze, owner of J K O’Donnell’s. “It’s the perfect time to gather your friends and family, make a reservation and enjoy a wonderful meal at an exceptional price.”

Fort Wayne area restaurants present Savor Fort Wayne with support from the Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association and Visit Fort Wayne. In its inaugural year, organizers anticipate 20 participating restaurants featuring steaks, sandwiches, seafood, salads and much more. Some menus will also include vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.

Savor Fort Wayne was developed by Visit Fort Wayne, who was eager to build on the success of our “Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown” program. During that event, we encourage locals to visit all of the great museums and attractions in our city.

During Savor Fort Wayne (January 15-26) we are encouraging residents to go out and discover the City of Restaurants and enjoy our home-owned, home-grown restaurants. Nine amazing restaurants are already ready to offer Fort Wayne residents exclusive menus, and more will be joining soon!

“To participate, all diners have to do is simply visit SavorFortWayne.com, review the menus and make the tough decision of where to dine,” said Tim Hall, owner of Hall’s Restaurants.

Savor Fort Wayne is being produced by Visit Fort Wayne and the Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association. For a list of participating restaurants and menus, visit SavorFortWayne.com. Updates will also be posted via Facebook on the Savor Fort Wayne page and on Twitter @SavorFortWayne.
